Coming to you 9,400 feet above sea level, we are at Hotel Quito safe and sound. We arrived in Quito about an hour ago. As we progressed through customs and the hub-ub of getting our luggage, our EF tour guide, Desiree, met us with open arms. We all moved to our tour bus and got ourselves situated. The bus driver drove us through New Quito to our hotel (total drive took about 15 minutes).
Our hotel is beautiful, lobby full of flowers, and the rooms are perfect for what we need them for. We intend to be up around 6:30am in order to have a buffet breakfast at 7:00am. We then will be headed to Old Towne (Quito) with our tour starting at 8:15am. Details of this tour follow tomorrow.............
